Hyper Sensory Perception

Many will understand the above without even the slightest explanation. HSP is most easily defined as "heightened senses"; sight, sound, smell, touch, taste. The senses go far beyond the five mentioned. When one has HSP, they will notice they can "hear" things others cannot -tones/ringing in ears (not diagnosed as tinnitus) & weak radio transmissions heard usually later in the night due to frequency levels for example. These seem to be merely heightened physical senses, but many that possess this seem to also hear more, perhaps in either the physic or spiritual realm. People with HSP make great contactees. In addition to sound, there is smell; smelling burning wood the day before a fire next door to your own home for example. These occurrences happened to me frequently. Extreme sensitivity to light and touch are also very common. Taste sensitivity can spawn a picky eater when they truly cannot help it. This painting endeavors to convey one who is in the throws of HSP, and yes, it can come in cycles. I believe that people are often misdiagnosed with Bipolar Disorder when in fact they are experiencing HSP. The scientific establishment having little understanding of these matters would dismiss this theory immediately. However, the symptoms are almost identical and this needs to be addressed as a serious issue. Are many being heavily medicated merely because they have heightened senses? If so, this is a tragedy.
