Hello, it's been forever since I posted, so much has happened.I only ended up sending 6 pieces out to Oregon for the July show and actually haven't even been burning for a couple of months! I started a new job which has cramped my burn time and my 26 nephew TJ (who's like a son to me) was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia,so I haven't felt much into the burning spirit. But I've still got 2 pieces to finish for my Northwest Pacific series, so I should just dig in and work on them, it would be good for the soul! For now-find your peace in nature.....

I've finally got my next piece for the Oregon show done!It's titled-Look Me In The Eyes- This one seemed to take forever, but I'm really happy with the results! It just needs a frame and then it will be complete! My next project is going to be a series of 3 pieces called Northwest Pacific series, hopefully they'll turn out like I have it envisioned in my head! Spring has sprung, time to get out for a hike with my camera, enjoy my beautiful natural surroundings, and hopefully capture something special!Peace.....

Hello again, I had to take a detour from my work that I'm doing for Oregon to do this new piece called "Walleye Action". It is for a benefit for a young boy suffering from cerebral palsy. They were asking for donations for their silent auction so I thought it was a deserved reason to take a break from my schedule to do this piece for the auction, it's my small way of trying to contribute to a just cause!

Here's Chief Joseph completely finished, I burnt some rustic detail around the outside and added a frame, courtesy of my fiancee Dave (he's a woodworker).I was going for an old, rustic look and I think I achieved it, I'm very happy with it!

I just finished my first piece for the upcoming Oregon show at The Woodart Center. I have a passion for the Native American culture, they are a proud people! This is one of my favorites,Chief joseph of the Nez Perce. They occupied the Wallowa Valley in Oregon, and Chief Joseph fought diligently to save his ancestral lands. He was respected and admired, and was a beautifully eloquent speaker.
