Thank you for visiting the FineStrokes Art Studio. It is my pleasure to share some of my favourite art with you. Here are a few of my recent works.
I work in many mediums and am always exploring new techniques as well as new mediums, however, graphite remains my favorite. The timeless and classic look of graphite portraits holds an inexplicable attraction for me and I find myself creating a portrait every few weeks. The art of paper quilling is a new passion of mine and I have found myself curling long strips of paper into beautiful wall art. There seems to be an endless variety of art mediums and new ones are coming out every day. We are fortunate to be living in a day and age where we have the ability to take our talent to any heights we wish and feel free to explore and grow.
The Gallery on this site shows my experiments with several mediums including Graphite, Quilling, Pen & Ink, Colored Pencil, Watercolor and Pastels to name a few. Several years ago, I fell in love with the art of Pyrography or Woodburning. More recently I am finding myself enthralled with Acohol Markers and the pages of my newest sketchbook are filling up with my studies in this beautiful and vibrant medium.
