About me:

There is so much beauty in imperfection.

However, I have never once felt anything in my art was perfect. Although we are taught to seek out & even celebrate perfection, it is increasingly difficult to obtain. It is truly rare for me to immediately know how or from where my ideas originate. Most are representations of the challenges we all face. I guess you could call them mental snapshots from my life which I have committed to canvas. Those personal images that inform and inspire my work run the full range of human emotion, & human emotion is messy & difficult, & ugly, & beautiful, and, yes, imperfect.

It’s true that my ideas have changed over the years. I have tried to continuously incorporate the style that I enjoy into each new approach. Naturally, art is subjective & each individual may be drawn to specific styles. are likely view the images differently; or may have an emotional response to a specific works. I hope that some of my painting managed to catch your eye and that is why you are reading this. There is a level of happiness in hearing others find a connection to my paintings. And it does add a sense that these subliminal expressions of my chaotic mind are not shared in vain.
