Lately I have gotten into a habit of "recycling" old art work of mine... Art work that I feel I can re-work. This is one of those pieces (a Still Life ironically) that I breathed a new life into....(no pun intended).

When I used to go to College.... in-between classes (lunch break) I would make my way to the on-campus bookstore where they had these Sour Apple Blow Pops. They were quite tasty (and gave me a decent sugar hit). This is an Abstract "Piece" of the taste and feeling..

o.k. No long winded explanation about why I made this piece.... only hints. The rest is up to you.. Hints: -Charcoal because like censorship it can be messy at times. -Gaze -Left arm "cover up". -Manner in which I chose to crop her. -Unfinished/"transparent" right hand placed over her hip/waist. -Hand in the (right side) background with an eye peeking through the fingers. -A halo -(left side) Background blank.. "nothing to see". What else can you "see" ?
