Mosaic Guitar with Fused Glass Bridge & Picks by Sherri Rhodes

Mosaic Guitar is a one of a kind art piece inspired by "Wiggy Stardust" a mosaic guitar by Sally Kinsey. . I started with an Alvarez Artist Series guitar that was unplayable due to bridge issues. Instead of letting a broken instrument sit around collecting dust, I wanted to breath life into it again so I could still enjoy my guitar in a new exciting way. The glass is all cut and applied by hand. There are 6 fused glass picks inset and the bridge is also a fused glass piece. The front, back, sides and neck are in total mosaic. Turquoise abalone is placed over the inlay pieces up the neck and mirror pieces, both clear and blue, gives the piece eye catching appeal. Comes with a used soft shell guitar case for easy transport and storage and a stand for display. Free pick-up is available or you can pay to ship. Thanks for supporting hand made arts!

New River Gorge Bridge, Fayetteville, WV New River Gorge Bridge is an originally designed stained glass leaded window panel. Bridge is constructed from a wide flat came to give it a deminsional look and make it stand out. Measures approx. 21.25" x 14.5" framed in oak and ready to hang. Inspiration for this piece comes from the West Virginia Quarter with the bridge featured on the back of the coin. Each year on the 3rd weekend of October, Bridge Day Festival takes place on the bridge in Fayetteville, WV. On this one day it is legal to base jump from the world's largest single span bridge and approx. 100, 000 people come from around the world to participate and watch.
