More Info: The longest painting was created by Iranians on 20th September 2005 in Keshavarz blvd-Tehran with the title of Global Peace. The size was 1.5 m.3 km; Over 2000 people took part in creating this great painting. In the early morning there were only about 100 teenagers but after a while at about 8:30 a.m another teenagers came to join us; I think we reached to 1000 teenagers around 9 a.m. Near to afternoon a lot of people from other cities [Gilan; Rasht and so so] came to join us. Except of teenagers, you could find Grafic teams and a lot of people over 22. The medias announced the teenagers who are between the ages of 12-19 can take part but the accountables who registered us said everyone who is younger than 22 can take part too. Finally in the day of event because there were not so many teenagers to finish 3 km; they let all the people paint. It continued until about 6 p.m. Everything was so good in the morning; I mean everything was in order; for example; we all got everything we needed for painting and there was no person without colors, brushes! but in the afternoon and evening all the answerables who had the resposiblity of a fixed space left Keshavarz blvd and if you needed anything, You could find noone around yourself and you had to go for a long meters to reach to the center of the control. All in all everyone was satisfied. One problem: All the brushes was in a same size; thanks God I had my brushes with myself! I am really so sorry for all the medias in Iran because they didn't advertize for this event so much and also after this event they didn't show much of it. Onething that is so clear is; there is no news of it on the Internet! It's really strange that something important happened but noone knows about it around world! It is more important or Visiting of Iranian women is becoming free for Baghih? I don't know why the forginers' channels did not say anything about it! such as BBC, CCN, TVE and so many others and the interesting thing is why those channels just speak about the problems of Iran not about the good events that happen in Iran! All in all, I think it's Iran's fault that still noone knows about this event; because The weak advertisement for the longest painting caused even most of the people who live in Tehran learnt about it in the evening.
