Dedicated to people who have appreciated the artist's work for many years and can appreciate it with an understanding of how long it really takes and an appreciation for the time it takes. Time... which is so important to create.
Even if the name of my studio is Colorful Magic... the various works that I have created with various means for four decades and more are not magic but work, work, and more work... and a lot of time is well appreciated...
with the love and appreciation of some, and in their honor these books are dedicated.
The book is not intended for people who try to delay with harassment, or a demonstrated lack of appreciation.
I thank some of those closest to me who knew and know how to appreciate over the years and no less to people far away in the far world who understand the heart of the artist appreciate or appreciate.
People who were not able to appreciate it for many years with an emphasis on relatives who have seen some of my works, I am very sorry.
And here it is clear that I do not have to share at all with those who are as cold as a radish in their lack of appreciation.

PEACE UPON YOU, DEAR THOM ROSLAN- RIP by Nira Dabush

I found out recently that my first & best internet friend, Thom Roslan passed away, at approximately the end of 2023.
Thom was a light to me on this site and a close friend.
It is no coincidence that I met him at the beginning of my membership on this site, and he quickly became my closest friend for many years.
I will note that from the first email he sent me, on New Year's Eve, Rosh Hashana, he gave me the nickname "Rainbow Artist". September 2004.
Thom is part of the inspiration and influence to work on self-portraits.

Quoting Thom on his 80th birthday, October 12 2022:
"Thank You, Thank You Dearest of ALL my Art Friends........
You too have always been there for me also.......You are a "GUIDING LIGHT" among all the artist here on AW ! ! !
I'm 80 today and feel 20 in my head, but alas, my body is different.......Ha,Ha,Ha, Ha !
I'm really trying to get back into my Life as an Artist.......but illnesses are hounding me from playing football,
being in the U.S. Navy and just romping around for over 40 years as a Vagabond.......till I met my Rusty.........She SAVED me.
Now,, as I grow older and more WISER .......
I appreciate such friends as YOU Nirï............you have been an inspiration to me also......
you are a fighter and a determined woman and that is the best person to be in this world of ours now-a-days!
Thank you again, my dear friend, I'll always remember you! Luv, Tomi."

I noticed the AW site changed too much, unfortunately. The traffic of people completely changed the same as the atmosphere. In my opinion, It has many reasons, and I felt AW, should consider helping it grow again, as it was in the past.. Not only me think like this.. Even If I am a member in several Art- Sites, for me AW, was the first art-site, in which I was active.. and found the best community. I understand not only they limited the posts in the Forums... They limited their showing on the SITE, The real amount of images, an artist posts. at the home page of artwanted.com . That means if once in several days I post 2 images, they show only one... WHY?. If for 2 months I could not post, and I wish to post more images... they will show at the site only one image. I am sorry for that too. Since their last change, I am getting ERRORS, as an anonymous visitor... WHY? I can't really change my cover, when I wish...?
And just by the way.. the look of the old forums was much more "friendly".. and I could have many friends in this site.. also something that was lost here.. WHY... Since there is SPY, & peepers to all that I do. I truly miss the "old days" at the site..
And, I think AW, Should do BETTER... At least they can consult with us, to make their improvements.
I also think that they should find a way to arrange this site free after so many years that artists pay... without deleting of images.
Some of the Best , wonderful people that were active here.. simply gone.. some run away... since AW Changes. For a while me too, understanding that outsiders people of the site... gave instructions to control artists... some the people I really liked were asked to do certain things, and were controlled... - That should never has to happen. ... So.. I still have my hopef for safer internet, and loyal friends that truly care. Sending my LOVE, To those care. Stay healthy in this COVID 19 times. Safety of Privacy must come first for all of us.. and the responsibility to one another when needed. ( in subject od privacy) Good night from Israel, Nira.

Quite sadly I heard the news of the Notre-Dame de Paris on fire.
My heart cries for the people of Paris.. and the whole of France.
A great loss & a terrible pain to all the world.
In approx 2006, I made an artwork in honor of a friend, I had here in AW of the Notre-Dame de Paris.. At a time he was there.... I tried to search for the image, but could not find it... Luckily he has it for sure... I wish I had it... Will I see it again ?
