Rating Details Graph

We have added a new graph to the 'portfolio statistics' page that shows the rating breakdown for each image. Simply click on the DETAILS link next to the number of votes to see the number of votes for each rating.

We will be adding additional details to this report very soon. Enjoy.

PS - We are also now monitoring the average rating of each voter. This way we can catch those people that consistantly give low ratings to others and disable their voting rights.

We don't want any wars going on between members and this is why we have hidden the names. We don't want 'low vote revenge' on any artist that happened to rate someone below an 8. :-)

As mentioned above, we are checking for people that always rate low or always give the same rating to everything. These people will be warned and if it continues, then voting rights will be removed. If we ever cancel someones voting rights, we will also delete all of their past votes, so they would not count against you.

Because we are calculating averages, that one '4' won't hurt much if all your other votes are high. We also plan to change our 'top 10' lists soon, so that they are re-calculated each month. This way, if you do get a bad mark, it will be ignored after a month.

Right you are Earworm. When you vote, the default is to rate images from newest to oldest. Users can change their voting preferences to random images or for a specific artist, but we want the default to be the artists that are active on the site and posting new images. With over 34,000 images on the site, it's safe to say that many images will never see a vote, unless users rate 1,000s of images each.

We are still only in our second month of voting, so I'm sure that we will refine the process and image selection process as time passes.

We will be creating a survey for our members next week to get their opinions on this rating topic. We look forward to seeing the results.
