I would like to submit my portrait of "Kit" 9 x 12 pencil on Bristol Smooth paper. I would like to submit Kit because in the portrait, I wanted to capture her emotion in her eyes, her inner pain that she feels every single day.

About this painting: "Sequoia Hikers" This watercolor illustration was done from the artist's imagination and influence from many hikes to capture the stature of a 1500-year old Sequoia Semperviren. It's good to see some ancient redwoods still remain on private property. It shows dedication to California's living history, by owners not cashing in on harvesting these majestic giants. The preliminary pencil drawing for this painting was also released as a limited edition print series, shown on this preview page. This artist loves being surrounded by these magnificent old growth forests. KimARTandDesign.com
