Trying to find a building to hold a solo exhibition

We have soooo many empty buildings and shops where I live. The councils should let them out cheap or free for periods of time to keep them in a good condition. The quote ' Cut the nose off to spite the face' comes to mind, That and greed. I just need a few days or a miracle week, I have a plan. Am I missing the method of how this is possible? I do have art in exhibitions with other people and at a local cafe as you can see in the photo. Ideally, I would like a large room with electrics and toilet facilities solely for my idea Has anyone else been successful? if so ...... how?
