Adding city of local artists

Hello, I am a local gallery curator in Los Angeles, as well as a curator for outside event in Las Vegas and Oregon. As an art lover/collector/ and curator, I enjoy representing artists from different areas, some of our shows love to showcase art from specific communities. I think a great addition to this wonderful art community would be adding the city/state of where an artist is currently living and working in. I always enjoy learning about the various forms of art that each city has =)

DON't be afraid. It is a joke. If seriously, I am not sure about you, but your above idea is realy GREAT! I also thought about that, suggested contest of this kind (it successfuly passed). I also thought how we can make a show or a gallery of this kind as a constant part of AW site? It could be a fun - to show landscapes and cityscapes from all over the world.

Any father ideas?

I am not so sure on this one. With all the weird and crazy things going on, do we want to tell all where we live?. I do realize in this day and age, its easy to find information on a person but many would not bother to look. If a person is really interested in contacting an artist to buy their work they will certainly try everything. But here you can send an email to reply to anything? Would that work? I guess the state would be fine or country. What to you think? Anyone else?
