I would like to see a contest with a scary theme for Halloween. Not like pumpkins or anything in particular. Maybe just Scary creatures.

Eat me. No I'm not being rude here. Edible art. Made of food. It could be a mosaic, sculpture, jam on toast. I always liked to make relief sculptures with my mashed potatoes. Real food that can be eaten. Don't restrict it to pumpkin carving though.

The problem with most of the suggestions put on this thread, is that they are specific to a certain genre of art.

The contest theme needs to be open so that it can allow all forms of artists to submit something.

I saw a suggestion on here that said the theme of dragons should be used, now please tell me how a photographer would develop a photograph of a dragon, i think you'd find that unless they have a mass of resources (money) they wouldn't, either that or you'd have loads of people attaching wings to their pets in an attempt to create a some what amusing photograph.

The more intelligent suggestions are those that will encourage a diverse group of people to submit there work.

Such as:

Seasonal suggestions

Event driven suggestions (sport seasons e.t.c)

public holidays (xmas, easter e.t.c)

you get my point!

I would like a political contest. Anything politically correct/incorrect. We have so much going on right now and this is a great venue to express some of our "feelings."
