Yeah Terry, strangely, so far many storms have passed us by and we hear of the States and other parts (provinces) of Canada getting huge dumps of snow. But I do think nature balances out cause two years in a row, we had enormous amounts of snow.

I suspect you're right Judy... I've only been in the US since 2002 and we've had more snow this year than all the snow I've seen here previously put together.

Well, some good news this morning Terry! Finally, just this AM, got 3 guys from south of the border to dig my little two- seater car out with shovels and a pick-axe. Paid them $20 for My FREEDOM!!!!

Terry et.al....i just was watching a program on NatGeo channel and yes i have been correct...the N-S polarity changes from time to time on Earth...apparantly this polarity shift is occuring again in our present time. I have been saying this to folks for a few years now and they think me crazy...oh well...guess they watch wrestling matches instead of NatGeo...rofl!
