Hey, Thecolor. I find it difficult to sell, but no more so than anything else. I've sold a lot of commercial art in the form of tee-shirts. As for the art itself, I make friends with local stores and business.

One place allows me an entire display in their cashier desk. It's a cafe, and they sell alright. I'm just going for a second generation of sculpture. I think they will sell good, higher detail, better target marketing.

For me, selling is a matter of sheer courage and ego control. Be friendly, show your best work, and know that it will take some time to establish a market.

Original Post: How much do you know to sell your art work?

I basically have gone on word of mouth from others comments in a University.
