I am a member of this group and have just posted a turtle painting that is 90% watercolor with maybe 10% gold acrylic paint. Is that OK with this group or should I get kicked out to the Mixed Media group?
No you shouldn't get kicked to another group! Acrylics are water soluble so I don't see a problem - and I'm the administrator! I don't like rules in relation to Art and that was the basis I used when setting up this group. So, feel free, relax and paint. And warmest welcome too.
Whoops! That was close! Glad this is not a purist group. Clicked and found myself a member, and it sure looks like a friendly place to be. I paint in watercolors and acrylics. Have painted in oils, but have given that up for all water-based media. Found many beautiful paintings here. Look forward to seeing many, many more!
