I am an imerging artist from South Louisiana with no formal training. I would say self-taught, but someone told me never to say that, it might turn people off. But, that is what I am, self-taught. No pretentions.

I've always had a creative outlet, and really began my love of color and shapes with textiles and doing colorful but traditional quilts. I've always wanted to try painting, and finally decided not to put it off any longer. I find alot of my inspiration in cloth and fabrics.

I love finding new techniques and subject matter. I love working with bright vivid colors and doing abstracts. I never know what will spark a creative burst where I just have to work it out with paints on canvas. I also love experimenting with mixed media.

My art has been purchased for private collections throughout the U.S. and Canada. Also by collectors in Spain, England, Argentina, Australia, Thailand and New Zealand.
