An Apology To Mother Earth

The oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is an environmental catastrophe.
On April 20, 2010 the disaster has taken the lives of 11 offshore workers, and injuring 17 others.
This drama, involving a leaking deep water oil well, has devastated the marine envronment, effecting wildlife, affecting as many as 400 species along the coastal areas of Louisina, Missippi, Allabama and Florida.
This unprecedented environmental damage has cost Gulf Coast residents their livelihoods and will cost billions of dollars in cleanup and recovery.

The zoom in version explains the details and symbolism of this collage painting
