A sure sign of early Spring, the draining of the pool. I will shovel this out, then power was and fill with new water and turn it on. It will then be crystal clear through October when I shut it off.

The dismal end to the algae!!! Poor buggers. A great place to cool off in the summer heat... :-)

Looks like yuck, but the garden will appreciate it! Glad you have a servant... oooops - apprentice, to help you out! :-) Is this a lolling pool, or is it big enough to swim in ?

Artist Reply: It is big enough for me to swim in. I can do three laps! It is more like a plunge pool, 12' x 8' x 3' deep. and easy to maintain!

Can I suggest something?: recycle them as salade :-)

Artist Reply: a salad for my garden, I use it as compost!

DO YOU USE CHLORINE? OR THE GOLD & SILVER IONS? SALT WATER? LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE A DAY'S WORK AHEAD OF YOU, BUT OH, THE REWARDS. COOL SHOT, JERRY.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Sharon, I put a chlorine tablet in it about once a week and it has a filter. It is crystal clear all summer!
