The Marilyn of the early 50's was a doll and she was stunning in Niagara. But the Monroe look reached an absolute iconic look by 1962. The eye treatment made her eyelids paler and more prominent and by this time she wore false eyelashes from half of the eyelid outwards, instead of full sets, this created that dreamy look and dark shadows under her eyes. I'm always very cautious of this fact, and control my shadows very carefully so I don't end up making her look like a racoon.
