A REAL STORY.. From my Book of LIFE.
The days of late 70's... He'aamal 17 Ramat - Gan..
As a kid I suffered from Allergic Chronic cough.. My mom used to take me a lot to be checked at the doctors.
One evening, I probably had the worse cough attack... and so, my parents called "MDA" services, which provide a doctor check at your home, coming with an ambulance, in emergencies... at any hour.
Though so many years passed since, I still remember it.
The doctor gave the tiniest pill as could be, in Green Colour, that I had to swallow, to relief from that HORRIBLE Cough...
But, ME, Nira had the problem to swallow it.. I was a teenager, but still could not swallow ..Of course, those years of my childhood and adolescence, my parents tried to mix the medicine tablets in drinks or food.. and in any creative way, they could think of. It was always a problem ( sometimes still - huge ones )..
AND SO.. I HAD TO SWALLOW That Green tiny pill. ( the doctor himself gave us 2 pills )
That evening, there was a Lokum in our home, and, I did not taste it before..
My father suggested they mix ,me the Tiny tablets with the Lukom..I agreed.. but then as I tasted it... it was so even worse, because, i dislike the lokum... The rest you can guess.. I maybe swallowed small part of that tiny Green pill.. AND.. The ceremony of my parents around me, to " help " swallow it.. ;-)
Thanks for viewing and commenting.. We shall have a WONDERFUL weekend. With LOVE, Nira.
