Dr. Ramin Pourandarjani, Iranian Martyr

Dr. Ramin Pourandarjani was an Iranian physician doing his military service in a state prison. He refused to reclassify deaths from police brutality as "natural." He subsequently died under very suspicious circumstances.

Yes! Another senseless death of a valuable member of the human race. It's very depressing to discover that in terms of humanity mankind has hardly evolved at all. Great use of colour and line to express this man's integrity. A sincere and Brilliant portrait! Love it!

I can see the kindness shining out of this brave man's eyes. This is a wonderful portrait... the vertical of the tie, and the brushstrokes in the green paint lead the eye directly to his face .
