Muslim Woman Holding A Bowl

Beauty is seen from the eyes and belongs to the beholder. A woman covered in a black over garment from head to feet with an open for her eyes. Red henna on her finger nails denoting celebration and holding a bowl of water preparing for prayer. Her beauty can only be seen through her eyes.

The eyes radiate out from the darkness. Somehow this embodies all the controversy about the burqa without the hostility.

Artist Reply: Hello David, it is wonderful to see beauty in humanity, thank you.

Very interesting for me.

Artist Reply: Hello Olga, any woman covered, in black from head to feet, beauty has to be in their eyes; smiling.
