Artist Reply: Thanks Jamie...it's still hot here. I've been eating real fruit lime popsicles today. They almost melted before I got them home. Not that I want real cold, but it might be nice to be a little cooler. I'm sure this little furry creature will be glad for a little more cool air too.

Artist Reply: Thank you Ruth. I am trying to compose three coons into a river scene. I do a work up of each then determine how they will fit in the painting. I think I have decided to incorporate this little fellow. I can just hear a bunch of coon dogs barking at the bottom of the tree...anouncing their success. Why do you hunt coons anyway?
