This painting depicts one of the U. S. Coast Guard's 52' self-righting motor lifeboats. This boat is shown operating in the dangerous waters where the Columbia River and Pacif Ocean Meet. This boat is used for rescues.

Great depiction of the brave souls training to rescue folks in trouble. Perhaps we should put the Coast Guard in to run the whole country.

Artist Reply: Thanks Edwin. I'm a frustrated guitarist so I really appreciate your art.

Your wonderful style is like the old masters only a different boat, also very beautiful. The waves are awesome, William!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Anneka. Love the expressions you captured in your cat painting 'My Buddies'. Bill
