Not always a perfect catch

This poor haron was trying so hard but it wasn't always a perfect catch many times it came up empty

Gerry I have not been so lucky to get this close, I sooooo love your Heron pics!!!!

Artist Reply: thank you so much Sharon This was after years of trying This day was sooooo cold and he or she was not effected by my presence I was so cold but so very excited to be able to get these and many shots of the bird I hope someday you will be able to do the same
