I sketched this student diligently writing in a classroom where I was substitute teaching. I transformed this sketch to a digital painting using the Paint program on my computer.

Clean,simple composition. There is a lot of visual interest in the speckled patterns in the blocks of color. Writing should be as easy as child's play.
