Annie The Five of Pentacles SK tarot project

penciled image on 11"x 14" 50# Bumblebee Art paper. Pen & inked, combined with colored pencil-with 1 small collage element.---Piece 1 of a multi-images Tarot Card Project I envisioned for a Stephen King Tarot Card Deck project. (utilizing primarily the 22 card Major Arcana selections)---From "Rose Red," I depicted the autistic (my original image) Annie Wheaton--with a small bouquet of Roses--(as The Five of Pentacles Tarot Card)--yet it became ironically clear that the 5 roses also --creepily--depicts the fact that of the Special group of investigators--Five of them Died before the end of the telefilm: Pam Asbury (the Touch-now), Cathy Kramer (automatic writer) Nick Hardaway (the pre-cognative) Emery Waterman (the Sensitive-with mom issues) and Victor Kandinsky (the Post-cognitive--sees the past in the here-and-now). Spooky. For those who may try to call me on the additional *death* of Joyce Reardon--you must remember---She was only driven Mad out of her mind--before the vampiric Rose red house *possessed and took her over* to be entombed by the house itself. as the collage element, I found a small photo of the original Thornewood castle (manor) used for the film and incorporated it into my Tarot Card design. (for insight into the spooky history of the REAL haunted castle-- www.theshadowlands.net/places has excellent listings for all haunted places--Thornewood Castle is listed in the State of Washington, just outside of Seattle. I also incorporated Annie's ability to control objects as in the film, she *caused* a storm of rocks and boulders to fall on a neighbors house --because their dog had bitten her. I will include more Tarot deck projects as I finish them. These are all original concepts for the King Tarot deck project I thought of... all comments and helpful critiques are welcomed. Artist name and dates on all works.
