The Ceremonial Mask Chess Set

Features caricatures of authentic African Tribal Masks. Hand-carved from solid Maple and Walnut, Kings about 6" tall...pawns about 3" tall. The significance of each mask is directly related to the position it holds on the chess board (board measures 25" square)

Impressive work, Jim. I lived in East Africa for 22 years and I remember the locals working on ebony and ivory, sculpting as you do. I like your work a lot.
