Frozen Mountains

"She had stood on the snows of Titan, Saturn overhead, stunned by beauty...." Inspired by this exerpt from a science fiction novel, I created a small oil drawing of my vision of Titan with frozen mountains; the methane "snow" that may stand on Saturn's large satillite world so far distant. Real images of the outer worlds had become available for the first time then, but for the artist--and writer--some imagination still holds value. (oil pastel on matte board; 5x7 inches, 1984)

CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS A 5 X 7 !!! AS A SCI-FI FAN, I LOVE THIS WORK! AND LEAVES SOME TO THE IMAGINATION. IT SHOULD BE ON A BOOK COVER! SUBMIT IT SOMEWHERE FOR THAT PURPOSE.

Artist Reply: Thanks for the support, Jerome. One of these years I may attempt to show my work at a Comicon or Trek convention.
