buitenmuseum

To let people know how dutch life was during the 16th century there is the "buitenmuseum" in Enkhuizen. This place was one of the VOC harbors where Michiel Adriaanszoon de Ruyter fought against atacks from foreign countrys together with Jan Pieterzoon Coen. The replica vessel of the Amsterdam is a statue of those times where Holland had his golden ages

What a lovely picture!!

Artist Reply: I know you would like it. I used it inside my poetry book The words: Schilderij.
