Moonshine

Elusive and shy, these lizard creatures are very hard to spot. Most people don't believe they exist at all. Albino by nature, they seem to have a soft glow at night, not enough to give off any light, but just enough to give a hint of their presence. 3b, 5b, 6b, medium and hard charcoal. May 08.

I really love your landscape and scenery work Wayne, you do really well there. This is lovely - the little lizard give it real character - I really like him =D - and his habitat works as a demonstration of pure skill. The reflections and work with light and shadow are fantastic, and I looove the trees. Branches are so fun. Keep it up sir! =D - Emma

Artist Reply: Thanks Emma. The reflections idea hit me one day at work and I couldn't wait to try it in a drawing. Just scribble in some charcoal where you want reflections and wipe sideways, gently.
