Twinklee and Shay

Both dolls are hand made from reproduction molds. Twinklee is dressed in a baby dress. She has teddy bear joints and is porcelain and fabric. Shay is dressed in a handmade velvet jumper and blouse and is a doll designed to sit.

What a wonderful blend of colors in these . And such a Happy mood setting!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much for looking, John. Twinklee is now with my daughter, dressed in her original hand made navy corduroy jumper which has an eyelet underdress. Shay is still in my living room, paired with another doll who also has a burgundy and lace jumper.

She was the first porcelain doll I made, and I picked that particular mold to make the doll because it very closely resembled my then 3 yr. old granddaughter. (who is now 23 and a mommy of 1 and mommy to be of 1 more). time does fly. :) thank you again.
