Angelina Smiling

This is my newest granddaughter, Angelina. She is a sweet baby. She is a charmer as her older sister Gianna is. I hope to do many future portraits as she grows. She is a beautiful girl, stunning as her mother and sister for sure. This is a digitally painted portrait that I did using an electronic drawing tablet- a Wacom, and a wireless pen stylus instead of using a mouse. Using Corel's Painter X art software I can chose the mediums- in this case chalks, pastels, oils, airbrush and blending tools, to paint on a canvas screen. I love the realistic results I can achieve. This is not a photo manipulated work. It is not a photo shopped image or an auto converted photo to art work. Larger prints of my works are available through contacting me. Commissions for portraits are being accepted.

wow....this is so real...wonderful talent and expression

Artist Reply: Thank you Khalilah! I love the results I can get with skin tones with digital art. I have to paint and then blend, and blend, and blend to get the smoothe skin. This style results takes me hours to get to this point. I have to add highlights last, & blend again.

Just beautiful!!!! Shouldn't be long before she has you wrapped around her little finger...I know it didn't take long for my Grandson to do that to me.

Artist Reply: I think all children can wrap me around their fingers when they are little. They are precious to be with, and I love spoiling them.

Artist Reply: Thanks Dee! I'm way behind on my e-mails. I went Girl Scout camping, and trying to get a house bought, and repacking. Once I'm settled in the new place I will be posting many new works I've finished.

Beautiful!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Debbie! They don't stay little for long, so baby portraits are ones I work extra hard on.
