(c)2007 An excellent documentary on the History Channel,...Modern Marvels: Alternative Energy,....was so impressive to me, I'm strongly considering buying a DVD copy. Even the commercials were interesting seeing GM's new alternative energy vehicle lineup. If a consertive effort were made, in the U.S., like in other nations mentioned,...Iceland, Brazil and Germany, for example, to devote serious money into doing the wind farms in North and South Dakota. The solar farm in the Nevada dessert and geothermal in Montana, along with tidal energy farms off the west and east coasts,...we, the U.S., could almost be energy self sufficient. And then we could look back at ourselves,...and laugh at how silly we were to have ever lived the way we do now,...and make this time we're in now,...a Forgotten World. :O)
