Make me Flutter

I went to my home village in Tanzania recently. It was a rainy season and there was no regular transport services from the village to the mainly road. I hired a little pick up truck so i could get to town quickly. Wrong. About 15 minutes after I left the village the truck got stuck in the muddy road justoutside the village for about 5 hours. I kept myself busy taking photos of insects and other things which looked interesting to me. this is one of the numerous shots I took. The side of the road was heaving with these beautifully coloured creatures. After the truck came out of the muddy, guess what? It ran out of fuel. Remember there is no petrol station. Well, one of the young men was sent to the next village to find some petrol. He came back 4 hours later and it stated raining. It was fun but not funny. I have a wonderful holiday though.

What a nice crowd - I wonder what butterflies "talk" about when they gather together? I think they have some way of communicating with each other!
