My friend, Mr. Randy Simmons is a fantastic person. He is a special unit police officer for the LAPD SWAT TEAM who works together with his wife and several others in the reaching and salvaging of inner city children's lives through Sunday School programs. I designed this truck for him about 6 years ago, to display a young African American girl from South Central LA within a coastal scene. These vehicles normally go to very muted and dreary neighborhoods where the drab colorization of the gang graffiti buildings and projects simply can be depressing. The pallette needed to be bright, "vivid" and "lively". (I love that name). The final spray painted metal was fully clearcoated and the giant logo stickers were put on, resulting in another wonder on wheels. Children are incredible, God is good... All the time*
