To Explore Or Not

(c)2007 With the Eggonian incident being resolved by high level negotiations, Federation exploration of space is still underway in other sectors. One such sector just undergoing scanning by two science vessels seems to be rich in mineral deposits. When they came upon an asteroid field equipped with detectors of some type. Just then, powerful magnetic waves snare the two Federation ships and three alien vessels move in to attack. Messages of peace are broadcast in all known languages and on all known frequencies, but to no avail. Here we see the Federation starships fighting back with success. The message here is,...despite all efforts to pursue peaceful means of cooperation,...war does become necessary as a final method of attaining peace for all. Especially when those who have, do, and will continue to murder innocent people to place terror in the hearts of those who remain. In order to achieve their goals of world domination, under their control, with no freedom of speech or expression, no liberty, no pursuit of happiness, no individual rights. Then those who are free,...and have the means to stop such persons, groups and nations,...must take action to defend our way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness from those who would try and take it away!!! Or,...will our nation do what others are doing,...what the Roman Empire did,...bribe, pay the enemy to leave you alone. LOL,...it didn't work for the Romans,...did it? Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it!!!
