The Freeway Ferry

(c)2007 Though traffic everywhere you go nowadays is getting worse and worse,...there may be an obvious answer,...the freeway ferry. Take a conventional semi truck new vehicle transporter and modify it to carry a few commuters, and their cars, to drop off points close to their destinations. Commuters would ride in a modified, large, luxury sleeper unit where they could watch the morning news, read the paper, be served breakfast, or catch some zzzzz's. These particular trucks would be exempt to the staying in the right lane only law. And could also take advantage of the diamond lanes. All tolls, whether at bridges or roads would be free to the commuters on board. Vehicle cleaning would be standard,...weather permitting. And vallet service is taken care of as well. The daily fee for the service would be low, possibly subsidized by the state government, to make it a very attractive way to get to work. Hehe :O)
