OCEAN SPRAY

Here are some photographs of the spray paint process and methodology we utilize in painting underwater murals. My students and I search through files of photographs we've taken and multi magazine shots collected, in order to build up the data pertinent to the actual depth of the sea we are doing. We begin by sketching the scenery, rolling Home Depot House paints, spraying Krylon and Onetouch paint, Acrylic brush and airbrush effects, even fingerpainting on certain sections. These whales were painted on a 15 ft. tall by 60 foot wide wall, Omega UTI assisted. Julio Valdivieso was the manager of the shark wall, These sea turtles were first again sprayed into existence.
