This is the reggae design for a comissioned vehicle targetted for an annual Rastafarian festival in Long Beach, CA. The client is an adamant Bob & Ziggy Marley groupy who loves these performers and history. The vehicle and garment designs are airbrushed with various tonal values, colors and hue pallettes. Even though the process is hard work, yet in the production stages, it is an extremely interesting challenge. The completed products always seem to... "Make 'dem people feel GoooOOOd, maaan!" LOL. I wanted the artwork to reflect more of a gradual burst of energy, rather than a saturated vehicle, I think the black and white action portrait works well with the warms and woven patch lettering.
