18" X 24", acrylic on canavas. Inspired by Firesign Theatre's "Roller Maidens From Outer Space". There is a song on that album called "Come On Jesus" about a trucker who sees Jesus hitchhiking and tries to catch up with the person who picked him up. I guess you had to be there.

the Firesign Theatre was a great source of intellectual amusement back in the day....the idea of finding 'a bunch of guys who dress alike and follow them around' was a perfect synopsis of our generation's conformist non-conformist 'ambitions'....i believe beyond the steering wheel and out the front window i DO see the tail lights of Jesus here: )
