Cloud

Cloud, a very pale, almost white palamino, was the subject of a PBS Nature documentery called "Cloud: Wild stallion of the Rockies". Here he is watching over his band...taking advantage of what little is left of summer vegetation. This was photographed in the Pryor Mountain wild horse range in southern Montana. October 2006

These beautiful animals are in danger. After seeing your beautiful photo, it reminds me how we must all help to work to keep them safe and defeat the destructive actions of those motivated by human greed and evil intent. I wrote an editorial on these wonderful animals after I photographed a picture of a model of a mustang, part horse and car. You picture captures the essence of the power of these sentient and awesome animals.
