STAINED GLASS DESIGNS - colorization samples

Working in stained glass patterns is challenging. The majority of work that has been produced inhouse incorporates lead casings or metalic trap soldering. Instead of hand tinting glass with transluscent paint and solvents, (which is considered by some artists as "cheating") the objective is to find the right natural color keys within the preheated vibrant glass staining. I select values from various charts and displays including insect and butterfly wing collections. This "Anchor" design was produced to be made in Arizona by my sister Chelsea Tallman.
