The MC track-type tractor was a crawler variation of John Deere's Model M. The track system was designed by Lindeman Power Equipment Company of Yakima, Washington which Deere had purchased in 1946. The first MC came off the Yakima Works line in March of 1949, in 1954 production was shifted to Dubuque, Iowa. The MC had 4 forward speeds and weighted 3,875 lbs.
