These are a few more examples of 7-10 minute quick portraits, where the subject needs to be quickly caught and rendered. the emphasis is not so much in the exact duplication of the face but rather to be able to capture the basic essence of their personality and demeanor. I am always surrounded by crouds of observers as I am painting them, so there is absolutely no room for nervousness or second guessing, once the permanent textile paint is sprayed there is no eraser, so I must make the best of what I saw!
