August von Parseval

August of Parseval 1861-1942, born in Frankenthal (palatinate), was a German designer of air ships. As an autodidact, he busied himself with problems of the aeronautics. With its later partner Rudolf Hans Bartsch of Sigsfeld he developed the dragon balloons. These were used as an observation balloon in the military. 1901 began Parseval and Sigsfeld with the building of a controllable air ship. The trips of each "Parseval" excited high sensation, like the first large trips of the Zeppeline. The second picture shows the whole work made for the artbook "Zeitsprünge 425"

This is really cool. And you've really done your homework on the background of this man. Nice work.
