I grow up in an apartment directly adjacent to a farmers market in Budapest, which was the view from our kitchen window year around, Piac (Hungarian for market) was always a source of entertainment, and conversation around the home. This scene is not as specific as much as typical. Although there are many other customers than the old, I always think of them as the ones who give the market its character. There is always something to gossip about and someone will always be left out. The Big-Mouth Woman is telling the others what just happened at the grocer, Incredible Outburst gets the joke and the painting I just dont get it missed the humor entirely
