Farm Cat

I visited a farm where My sister lives. There are several farm cats that are well taken care of by my sister. Anytime I visit her, there are many curious eyes around me, some come over to get petted, others remain at a distance. This cat was curious and decided to come see me, then go laze in the late afternoon sun.

I wish all cats had a loving home and didn't have to suffer out in the elements...Nice shot! such a precious looking creature.

Artist Reply: Thanks Christine. The farm cats have several barns, and my sister puts on her porch covered places for them as well. She makes sure they have food, water, health care, even gives them shots herself. She doesn't have to, but does. She nurses sick or injured cats as well. Theyse may be outdoor cats, but have plenty of safe areas to stay and be warm. I wish the farm owner would spay and nueter, but refuses to. My sister does what she can as a renter.

Artist Reply: Thanks Chas! I wish! I watched him bat and knaw at the leaves and found he was munching on wild strawberries. I'll post a close up of the berries later.
