Ths is part of a project i started, but I dont know if I will bring to end. Have been asked to draw scenes for a school musical based on "the Lord of the Rings". This is the first scene: Hobbiton. I've caught the chance to try watercolor pencils which are kinda new to me, and have been crazy enough to do it large... 30*40 cm. After two days working on it I'm about to collapse ;) Luckily colors are merry enough to keep one's mood up :) And yeah, I know the houses on the right are a bit off perspective, but maybe one wont notice ;)

Hey that looks just like Longford, except the mill there has water running at ground level :) It's just great that you have used landscape from my area Cristine, Tolkien loved this part of the country :D
